Jubin Nautiyal recently courted controversy after netizens claimed that the singer had an alleged connection with a criminal. Reports suggested that Jai Singh, the organiser of Jubin's upcoming US concert, was a ‘wanted criminal’ in drug smuggling and video piracy cases. It was also alleged that Jai was a part of the banned Khalistan group in Punjab and provided logistical support to Khalistanis hailing from the Fermont gurudwara in California.
